A free weekly ceremony every Sunday morning to raise the casket flag of a Veteran to honor and remember ALL Veterans, held at the Lou Booth Amphitheater at 2nd and Ocean Avenues in North Wildwood. Arrive 10 minutes before sunrise to participate in a 20-minute tribute and inspirational message at the most beautiful vista on the Jersey Shore. This location offers photo ops galore! The Flag Raising Ceremony is weather permitting as Veteran Casket Flags are not for all-weather.  7/5   9/13    Yin Yoga & Sound Immersion 

On the Wildwood Burk Avenue Beach! Accessible by the boardwalk extension alongside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Look for the purple yoga flag! Enjoy an easy evening of yin yoga and vibrational healing as the day winds down. We begin in longer held stretches to go beyond the muscles and target our connective tissue. This creates greater flexibility as we go deeper into the stretch. Yin yoga is a wonderful compliment to any active form of exercise and can be practiced daily. The stretches will lead into a final relaxation pose. To aid your relaxation and allow you to fully unwind, I offer a guided meditation that extends into a longer rest accompanied by gongs, crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls and bells as well as the gentle sounds of the ocean. I will share Reiki with each of you, as well, to enhance your healing. Class is approximately 75 minutes. Bring a beach towel and a blanket or a cover up for the relaxation part at the end. Bring water and anything else that will allow you to relax! $10 a person of two for $16. Grab your buckets and shovels and head to the beach at Heather Road in Wildwood Crest from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and get ready to create works of art in the sand! This amateur and semi-pro sand sculpting contest is hosted by professional world-renowned sand sculptor Matt Long, a former cast member of the Travel Channel’s SandMasters, and “Can You Dig It!” Sand Tools. 2022 marks the 10th year for this fun festival. FREE to all participants and spectators. Fun activities featured at this year’s festival include live music, beach games, and family entertainment.  7/9   7/9    Jersey Shore Spikefest Jersey Shore Spikefest 

Cedar Avenue & the Wildwood beach. Morey’s is proud to partner with Tri-State Roundnet to bring America’s newest and fastest net game to the expansive beaches of Wildwood, NJ. Inspired by elements of volleyball and four-square, Roundnet is quickly becoming one of America’s fastest-growing sports. This event will be held at Morey’s infamous PigDig Beach Bar, where you can enjoy fantastic drinks and world-famous barbecue without ever leaving the sand. All registered Spikefest participants will receive a $5 credit ($10 per team) to PigDog Beach Bar. In addition to the gameplay and the good eats, participants will have the opportunity to purchase deeply discounted admission to Morey’s Piers and Water Parks. The game is played between two teams of two people. Players are positioned at 4 points around the net, with partners located at neighboring positions. One player serves the ball across the net to the opposing team member. The opposing team then has 3 hits to return the ball to the net. After the serve, there are no boundaries of play. Participants are free to run, set, and spike the ball from anywhere around the net. Play continues until a team fails to return the ball or the ball hits a rim piece, at which point the point ends, and the other team receives 1 point. The Summer Wildwood event Jeep Invasion is the largest gathering of Jeeps in the Northeast with 2500 Jeeps in attendance, and over 100 of the industries top vendors. The entire event takes place on the beach. All Jeeps, and vendors are parked on the beach for this three day event, there is even a beach obstacle course run by Rausch Creek Off Road Park. The event is family friendly and has become a yearly vacation for many of our participants and vendors! All Jeeps must be pre-registered to park on the beach, there is no day of registration, however spectator admission is FREE. Wildwood Beach Patrol proudly hosts the Annual Beach Day with 21 Down from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The central meeting area will be at Lincoln Avenue and the beach at 10 a.m., in front of Wildwood Beach Patrol Headquarters, at the 20-foot guard tower dubbed “Tower X.” 21 Down is a non-profit, Down Syndrome awareness group serving families, educators and healthcare professionals of Atlantic and Cape May Counties. Their mission is to create awareness and acceptance of people with developmental disabilities while providing information, support and community events for their families. The Beach Day incorporates safe, guarded ocean play time for the children and families of 21 Down, as well as opportunities for interaction and educational opportunities with seasoned lifeguards as they discuss beach safety with attendees. Short breaks for lifeguard style relay races, lunch, cold beverages and ice cream are also provided as beach safety is reinforced. The Wildwood Beach Patrol, with the support of local community businesses, strives to create great Wildwood memories for these children and their families with the Beach Day event. Fish for Life, a 501c3 program that takes special needs children fishing is expanding from the West Coast to the East Coast! 30 special needs children, 30 chaperones & 40 volunteers will board the 100ft sportfishing vessel “Atlantic Star” to enjoy a day of fishing……in grand style on Saturday, July 23, 2022! Opening ceremonies begin mid-morning to honor our special needs guests. After the speakers, a volunteer will say a prayer followed by the singing of the National Anthem and then we roll out a Red Carpet to individually introduce our honored guests and their chaperones. Fishing Teams are organized and once everyone is aboard, we depart to the theme song of the Pirates of the Caribbean. Seasoned anglers will teach the kids how to catch fish and a Marine Biologist will be aboard to bring an educational opportunity to the experience. Guests will enjoy entertainment surprises including (on occasion) a real live Mermaid and water-gun battle royale with a passing Pirate Ship! Everyone is encouraged to decorate their beach space, and wear festive holiday attire to welcome Santa. he Borough of Wildwood Crest will host the 4th Annual Christmas in July Festival on Saturday, July 23, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will be held overlooking the bay at Sunset Lake along New Jersey Avenue from Stanton to Miami avenues. Come celebrate the Christmas season in the summertime with this family-oriented festival along Sunset lake.
